Campus Evangelistic Fellowship (CEF) is a Christian student organization at UCSF. We believe that there is more to life than academic achievement and material wealth. To be a whole person, we can't live as islands, isolated from each other (and from ourselves). Our purpose is to help students and scholars from China to explore the fullness of life abroad through intellectual, cultural and spiritual endeavors. In this world of uncertainty, our hope and faith go way beyond job security and the size of our bank account. We model our lives after the life and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

CMDA is a national Christian health profession organization that equips professionals and students around the country to integrate faith into practice. UCSF CMDA is an organization that brings medical, dental, pharmacy and nursing students together at UCSF to pursue integrating faith into practice. Our goal is to equip students to become solid Christian healthcare professionals where Christ is demonstrated and glorified. We're under the umbrella of CCF and work closely with Sonrise- you can think of us as "outreach/professional arm" while Sonrise is like the "bible study/fellowship arm." We have many exciting plans for this 06-07 year such as a mentorship program between Christian healthcare professionals and students, community service (Christian homeless clinic, Angel Tree etc.), medical missions panels, guest speakers, and social events! Come check us out! To get email updates on upcoming events, just email Danielle.shin@ucsf.edu or check out our website (xanga.com/ucsfcmda).

Koinonia is a Christian fellowship with the heart and vision to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the UCSF campus. Here at Koinonia, we invite you to consider the Bible's take on life's most persistent questions, like the meaning of life, who am I, why am I here, and how God fits into all that. Together, we seek to deepen in our knowledge of God and love for one another and to honor the truth of his Word. We meet for Bible studies each week, and we also get together for fun sports, exciting outings, and meals. So, come check us out!

Sonrise is a welcoming community of believers whose vision is to worship God, help each other mature in faith, and impact our community for Christ. We seek to apply our faith to our professions in the health sciences. We meet weekly for dinner followed by praise and Bible study or hearing from a guest speaker in the health field. Small groups and prayer groups also meet throughout the week, and each quarter we take off on a retreat. We come from a variety of denominations, brought together by our common desire to know Jesus better and to walk with him during our spiritual journey here at UCSF. Students and non-students alike are welcome to join us!
