about ccf

CCF is a hub for Christian fellowships at UCSF. Although the number of students at UCSF isn't large, there are a fair number of fellowships scattered across several campuses. Many Christians hardly know one another, and Christians new to the campus hardly know where to start. Our goal is to provide a safe meeting point in which people can learn about different fellowships, and fellowships can learn about one another. In other words, Campus Christian Fellowship is about promoting fellowship all across the campus!

How can CCF help me get plugged in spiritually at UCSF? We help direct people to the weekly on-campus fellowships and local churches that they can call home. By helping to connect the various fellowships at UCSF, we at CCF also help you connect with one another, no matter which fellowships you choose to attend. We hope that our resources and unity events will provide you with the spiritual support and community you need on campus.

What can CCF do for my fellowship? CCF would like to get the word out about your fellowship. In the spirit of UCSF, we believe in a diversity of fellowships. Our website is regularly updated so that people looking for a Christian community can learn more about your group. We would also like to invite you to share with us your online calendar, pix, or blog so that we could post feeds on our website for anyone passing through our site.

What can CCF do for me as a fellowship leader? As a leader of an independent fellowships, you may often find yourself reinventing the wheel or perhaps even spiritually isolated. Leaders have particular concerns that others in your fellowship might not particularly relate to. CCF wants to act as a hub not only for fellowships, but for leaders as well. Our listserv is open to all fellowship leaders and is designed for leader-->leader communication. Depending on interest, we also plan to offer breakfasts or other ways for fellowship leaders to meet and discuss the unique needs that we face in the care of our groups.

How can I get involved in CCF? If God so lays it on your heart, I hope that you would consider getting involved in CCF. The beauty of serving at CCF is that most activities are not time-critical. Website updates and personal connections with other leaders happens at a leisurely pace, and you can serve in whatever capacity you feel comfortable. If you're interested in getting involved, please drop us a line!

In the end, CCF is a community of leaders and ultimately of fellowships. We pray that we can be an encouragement to you and your fellowship!
